By using Frisbly, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
Description of service
Frisbly is a browser-based image compression tool. All image processing occurs locally in your browser. We do not provide cloud storage, server-side processing, or image hosting. Batch and ZIP processing are subject to the same client-side, no-upload terms as single-image compression.
Your files
You retain full ownership of all images you process with Frisbly. Because images are processed entirely client-side, we never receive, store, or have access to your files.
Permitted use
You may use Frisbly for personal and commercial purposes. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer the service, perform automated scraping, or use the service in a way that violates applicable laws.
No warranty
Frisbly is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that the service will meet your specific requirements.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frisbly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
File authority
You may only process files that you own, have created, have licensed, or are otherwise legally authorized to use. This includes images, PDFs, text, icons, and any other file content handled by Frisbly tools. Frisbly processes files in your browser and does not review whether you have the necessary rights. You are responsible for confirming that your use of each file complies with copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, platform, and other applicable rules before using the service.
User responsibility
You are solely responsible for the files you choose to process and for any legal consequences arising from those files or your use of Frisbly. You must not use Frisbly to process unlawful, infringing, abusive, deceptive, malicious, or unauthorized content. If your use of the service violates these Terms, infringes another person's rights, or breaches applicable law, you are responsible for the resulting claims, losses, notices, penalties, and disputes. Frisbly may restrict access or cooperate with valid legal requests where required. This includes screen captures and screen recordings; you are responsible for confirming that you have the rights to capture or record any visible application, document, video, broadcast, streaming content, or game content before using Frisbly's screen capture or screen recorder tools.
Copyright notices
Frisbly respects copyright and will review valid notices of alleged infringement. Because Frisbly is designed for browser-side processing and does not host user files, many file-processing disputes may concern a user's own conduct rather than material stored by Frisbly. If a DMCA notice is submitted, it should include the required signature, work identification, material location, contact details, good-faith statement, and accuracy statement. Notices and counter-notices should follow the separate DMCA policy page.
DMCA PolicyIndemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Frisbly, its operator, service providers, and contributors from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your files, your use or misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights. This obligation applies even though Frisbly is designed not to upload or store your files, because the selection, rights status, and legal use of each file remain under your control.
Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that part will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary so that it can remain effective where possible. If it cannot be made effective, it will be treated as removed from these Terms. The remaining sections will continue in full force and effect. This approach is intended to preserve the agreed rules for Frisbly's browser-side, no-upload tools without expanding any invalid provision beyond what applicable law permits.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, except where mandatory consumer protection, copyright, privacy, or other applicable law provides otherwise. Courts or authorities may apply mandatory rules that cannot be waived by contract. If a dispute arises, the parties should first try to resolve it by contacting Frisbly in good faith. This section does not limit any rights or procedures available under applicable copyright law, including DMCA notices or counter-notices where they apply.
