Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

No uploads. Ever.

Frisbly compresses and converts your images entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device. We do not transmit, store, or process your images on any server. Batch processing and ZIP downloads are also performed entirely in your browser. No images are uploaded to our servers.

What we collect

We collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (for example: compression ratio ranges, format choices, session duration) via Vercel Web Analytics. We do not collect filenames, image content, EXIF metadata, email addresses, or any personal identifiers.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry to capture JavaScript errors. Error reports contain stack traces and browser environment details. They do not contain filenames, image data, or personal information. Sentry personal-data transmission is disabled.

Cookies and local storage

Frisbly uses local storage to remember cookie choices. We do not run GA4, and our own Vercel and Sentry telemetry remains limited to privacy-first aggregate analytics and error monitoring.

Consent and regional rights

Where required, including for users in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Frisbly requests consent before using optional analytics storage. California users may have rights to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information where applicable. You can accept, decline, or change cookie choices through the consent banner.

Third-party services

We use Vercel for hosting and Sentry for error monitoring. Please review their respective privacy policies for details on how they handle infrastructure-level data.

Screen capture and recording

Frisbly's screen capture and screen video recorder run entirely in your browser using the Screen Capture API and MediaRecorder API. Captured images and recorded video stay on your device. We do not transmit, store, log, or analyze your captures or recordings. Capture metadata such as filenames, screen dimensions, recording duration, and MIME types is not sent to Sentry, Vercel Analytics, or any third-party service.
